The fairy tale of Messi

 After losing three consecutive finals the dream of winning a cup for the Argentinian fans become an impossible task. In fact, people started saying that Messi will never win a cup for his country. Messi fans will never forget the 2014 world cup, 2015 and 2016 Copa America finals.   

 

Being the world's best footballer, achieving almost every prestigious award at the age of 23, he was criticized worldwide. Even many said that Messi is a fraud. I can remember the day Messi lost the 2014 world cup, one of the most heartbreaking moments in football history. The way Messi brought the team to the final was mesmerizing. He got the best player of the tournament, and the same thing happened to the following Copa America. Though he got many things as a footballer and an international trophy become most wanted for the Greatest of all time.  

But Messi’s story was not over yet. When the whole world gives up the dream of Messi winning an international cup for his country. Just after the death of the God of the football Diego Maradona in 2021, Messi again become the best player of Copa America, but this time he won the Copa cup too. Even after winning the Copa no one could believe this team would win the world cup. But Messi’s leadership and his performance dedications for the team inspired everyone. Here, the determination Messi showed as a leader and as a great player is outstanding. It's like the Almighty wants to thrill the whole world. Eventually that was not easy for Messi they lost their first match against a team like Saudi Arabia. Starting a world cup from losing against Saudi and then win finals against the mighty France. 

 

This story inspires many people, I'm one of them. His journey is incredible, it's not only about football, but also about resilience and perseverance. Watching him getting everything prestigious and on the other hand being criticized for not having a particular achievement. He didn’t give up, he tried and won what is meant to be his.

My First Glimpse of London: My Journey of Discovery

Back in February of last year, I travelled to London for the first time and it was an amazing experience to say the least. The way the city weaves its history seamlessly into a modern urban life is something I have yet to find in another place, and it starts captivating me from when I step off the plane.
